Thomas (Scottish: Tavish) is a German producer and DJ. He produces beats together with singers and rappers as well as independently. His expertise lies in hip hop and drum and bass. Together with Thomas, I developed a design that brings his work from the audible to the visible and combines both elements.

Thomas' indicator of good music is what he calls his "stank face". He puts this on when producing music. I have transferred the metaphor of the "stank face" to the visual appearance. Every beat, every DJ set is its own scent, which is visualised with the help of an abstract flower. The different layers within the flowers reflect the work involved in sampling. Parts of existing tracks are cut out and reassembled to create a new song.
